Project Natal wows crowd at E3

Watching the live announcement of this project yesterday on G4tv, i was impressed by the fact that microsoft said this new technology would be compatible with current gen Xbox 360's, though no actual street date was issued as to when we would actually see this hit the stores.

One of the biggest announcements at Microsoft's E3 keynote was Project Natal, an ambitious project using camera tech developed by 3DV. The keynote promo video shows off many planned uses for the new peripheral, running the gamut from something as simple as beating up an old, feeble man, to complex voice recognition and scanning features. It's ambitious, to say the least, and only time will tell if the company can pull it off.

Roadblocks in Montgomery

Lately there has been nothing but idle chatter about the Montgomery police conducting random checkpoints throughout the city. these checkpoints are offically used to check Driver's licenses and Insurance to make sure citizens of montgomery are following the law, but it lately a very small group of people have been protesting these roadblocks around the city.

the main reason for the complaints are the usual cries of "racism" , "Profiling" and "police brutality". and it has been coming from the same group of people, lead by 3 individuals who can be compared to pond scum after the cry like babies over not being able to run or mayor of this fine city.

if you have nothing to hide, as these 3 numbskulls, claim, then do the right thing and show up at these roadblocks with common sense, show your documents and be on your way in les than 20 seconds. only people who have something to hide open their mouths and cry racism.

if you want to stop crime in the areas that are being "harrassed" by these checkpoints, the thing to do is encourage the citizens to straightne up and show them the rewards that come with living a crime free life.
